Connecting an industrial laboratory
At the ICPS Lab, I supported integration across PLC control, robots, RFID, cameras, and optical and proximity sensors. The work involved the interfaces linking control, sensing, and communications within the laboratory.
My contribution
I supported interface validation, investigated connectivity problems, and produced architecture and connection documentation. Siemens TIA Portal was part of the control and PLC workflow.
Troubleshooting required tracing a connection across device interfaces, configuration, and the wider communication path. The documentation helped make those relationships understandable and gave the team a reference for investigating faults.
Work context
This was collaborative laboratory integration work. The summary focuses on my validation, troubleshooting, and documentation contributions; internal topology and device-level configuration remain private.
